Kinetic is a national youth work charity that provides trusted adults and support services to young people. They focus on:
 
• Meeting young people where they are, based on their individual needs, using youth work methodologies.

 

• Offering a safe space for dialogical work through fun, interactive, and participatory activities.

 

• Supporting young people to gain skills, knowledge, and learning to help them navigate the challenges of transitioning into adulthood.

KINETIC

20 YEARS IN THE GAME

Kinetic aligns all its services with the National Youth Work Curriculum and maintains a workforce trained to National Occupational Standards for Youth Work. By offering a rights-based, youth-led approach, Kinetic places youth participation at the core of every service.

  • 4.43 At the time of our inspection no children identified as gay, lesbian or bisexual. Support for children who did identify was provided individually. In the months before our inspection three children had recently identified as gay and specific groups had been arranged for them by Kinetic Youth

  • 3.53 Kinetic Youth workers (a youth work social enterprise) were used productively with separated children which was good.
